So this white couple? They have a colonial African themed wedding? Because. I don’t even know?

So I’m scrolling through the posts, and it’s all really fucking insane, ok. But then I hit this one and just about puked.

No. Let me clarify. In addition to the all the colonial, union jack, zebra skins, guns and army fucking tent bullshit (and actual colonial pieces from Pretoria) they used to decorate the place (which is plenty bad enough) they went ahead and hired ALL BLACK SERVING STAFF to mimic the slaves? They used to use? I GUESS?

When white people like me say things like “Fuck white people” THIS IS WHY. THIS IS WHY. Because fuck these people and every single person that attended this wedding and said nothing. THIS is so fucking embarrassing/dehumanizing/horrifying/ignorant/hard to believe/unconscionable/other words I can’t think of right now.

i knew it! i was only wondering what the black people were there for! the fact that they were servers is so fucked up! i can understand maybe you want to have like a wedding with vintage pieces from england or even colonial whatever africa, but to make your wedding COLONIAL AFRICA themed and not vintage british shit themed and to have BLACK SERVERS is beyond fucked.

Imagine what it felt like to be one of the servers, maybe getting a call from your agency or whatever thats all “we have a job for you” and being in the position where YOU HAVE TO SIT THROUGH and perform subordination in this way.

Disgusting. Like how do you even say “we need to make sure we have real enslaved Africans - whippee!” There were even fucking planks in the other pictures.

There was eventually rainfall at the wedding and they had to move inside. Serves them the FUCK right.

What the ever loving FUCK? The fuck is wrong with these people?

Those poor servers. Everyone treats you like shit when you’re serving at weddings in the first place (people are drunk and they don’t give a shit about you, and never tip at the bar), and then you have to go work for RACIST FUCKS?

Fucking WHITE PEOPLE.

I wish people could go to jail for shit like this. I really, really wish they could.
